Bitcoin Ordinals and Runes supporters have renewed calls for native trading on OpenSea after Leonidas shared a comment attributed to a company marketer saying community feedback helps shape its product roadmap. Leonidas has asked OpenSea to add native support for Bitcoin Ordinals and Runes. A shared interface image features Runestone, Bitcoin Puppets and NodeMonkes among Bitcoin collections. OpenSea’s published blockchain compatibility guide does not list Bitcoin among its supported networks. The campaign follows earlier announcements to close Bitcoin services at Magic Eden and Ord.io. Leonidas, in posts dated Oct. 21 and Oct. 22, urged collectors to make their interest known and directly asked OpenSea to support both asset types. His posts included an image of Bitcoin collections displayed in an OpenSea interface and a separate promotional graphic imagining trading support.
