Write for BTC Daily Wire
We publish reader analysis next to the day's headlines. If you run a node, mine, manage Lightning channels, work on Bitcoin software or follow the law around it, we want to read your work. Submitting is free.
What we want
- On-chain analysis with the data shown. Name the source and the dates or block range, so a reader can check your numbers.
- Mining economics. Hashrate, difficulty, miner earnings and energy costs, with the sums laid out.
- Protocol and Lightning explainers. What a BIP, a Bitcoin Core release or a Lightning change does, in plain words.
- Write-ups from operators. What you learned running a node or Lightning channels, including what went wrong.
- Policy analysis. A regulation, a tax rule or a court ruling, with the document linked.
- Your own work, 250 words minimum. A blog post can be 150. Link your sources. Nothing published elsewhere. Most good pieces run 600 to 1,200 words.
What we won't publish
- Price predictions or trading calls.
- Promotion of any coin or product, presales, and referral or affiliate links. If you have a product to promote, ask about advertising instead.
- Rewritten press releases.
- Leaked private material, personal attacks, unverified accusations or anything defamatory.
How review works
- Create a free account. You must be 18 or older. Write in our editor, which saves your draft as you type.
- An editor reads it within two working days.
- We publish it or send it back with a note. You can revise and resubmit from your account page.
Published pieces carry your byline. We may tighten the wording and the headline. We will not change your argument without asking.
