WhiteBIT has added support for the Bitcoin Lightning Network, giving its 10 million users another way to deposit, withdraw and send Bitcoin. Launched on October 8, 2026, the integration uses infrastructure from Voltage and extends beyond account funding to QR payments and send-and-receive features. In a press release published through GlobeNewswire, WhiteBIT described the launch as a way to make Bitcoin transfers feel instant and more practical. The company identified everyday fund transfers, movement between trading platforms and cross-border payments as uses for the integration. Customers can now select Lightning to move Bitcoin into or out of their accounts.
