Elon Musk 's SpaceX’s Bitcoin holdings took a heavy hit in the first half of 2026. But a rally since the company went public has erased most of that damage. According to its SEC filing, in its first quarterly report as a public company in August, SpaceX said its 18,712 Bitcoin were worth $1.098 billion as of June 30. That was down from $1.637 billion at the end of 2025, a drop of about $539 million as Bitcoin fell roughly 33% in the first half of the year. The company did not sell any coins during the slump. What SpaceX holds now SpaceX still holds all 18,712 Bitcoin, custodied through Coinbase Prime, according to the data by blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence.
