Just 0.7 Bitcoin Now Makes You a Billionaire in Indonesia

With the rupiah pinned near 18,000 per dollar, 0.7 BTC now converts to more than 1 billion rupiah. Crypto commentator Ash Crypto took to X and revealed that just 0.7 BTC is worth more than a billion IDR, with the dollar-rupiah rate currently sitting around 17,995. This puts 0.7 BTC at roughly IDR 1.04 billion. In dollars, that is about $58,000 at a bitcoin price near $82,700. Moreover, it bears mentioning that bitcoin has held above $80,000 for weeks, while the rupiah has spent most of 2026 setting fresh lows. The slide has been steady rather than sudden and on May 4, IDNFinancials reported that the rupiah closed at a record IDR 17,394 per dollar, a 4.28% depreciation from IDR 16,687 at the start of the year.
