Wednesday's crypto news feed was a wall of red. Hot US inflation data sent Bitcoin below $80,000, and nearly $1 billion in leveraged bets were wiped out within a day, Crypto Times reported. By Friday, Bitcoin had climbed back to about $81,952 and the total market was up 2%, which left traders with one question. Who was buying while everyone else sold? Part of the answer sits in Bitcoin's own on-chain data. The other part shows up in a much smaller name, Pepeto, a token not yet listed anywhere that kept drawing buyers right through the sell off and pushed its raise past $11.1 million. The October 14 US inflation report was the biggest crypto news of the week.
