Bitcoin could top $100,000 by year-end, according to Bitwise, while LO:TECH expects a range of $85,000–$95,000. The two disagree on when the obstacles of interest rates and inflation will ease. Analysts speaking to CoinDesk believe institutional demand could support Bitcoin over the long term, but they do not agree on whether that support will turn into a strong rally before the end of 2026. At the time the source article was published, Bitcoin was trading at around $81,500. Ryan Rasmussen, head of research at Bitwise, expects Bitcoin to end the year at a higher price, potentially above $100,000. He bases this view on institutional demand through ETFs and corporate purchases, a shift toward assets that can preserve their value amid inflation and rising public debt, and clearer crypto regulations.
