Bitcoin has remained exposed to another inflation-driven selloff, analysts have warned, after an $811 million crypto liquidation wave left market-wide open interest down only about 2% at $140.9 billion in their pre-CPI assessment. $140.9 billion in crypto open interest remained after the selloff, according to Bitget Research’s briefing. Nansen reported $175.7 million in Bitcoin ETF inflows on Oct. 13 after recent withdrawals. Bitget Wallet’s Lacie Zhang warned that sticky core inflation could challenge expectations for Fed policy. Zhang identified $81,000–$82,000 support and a sustained $84,500–$85,000 breakout as levels to watch.
