Bitcoin may be heading for trouble once U.S. voters go to the polls. In a series of posts on X, crypto market analyst Ali Charts pointed to a pattern that investors could be overlooking: Bitcoin has seen a major correction around each of the last four midterm elections, and the next one falls on Nov, 3. “ With the U.S. midterms less than two weeks away, investors may be overlooking a historical pattern that has repeatedly preceded significant price declines. And if history repeats itself, Bitcoin could be heading toward another major correction,” he wrote on X. “These declines were also influenced by Bitcoin's broader market cycles, liquidity conditions, and investor sentiment,” the analyst further added.
