US spot XRP ETFs recorded about $740,000 in net inflows even as the coin lost 6% of its price over 24 hours. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Hyperliquid funds lost nearly $400 million combined on October 14. The contrast is notable as inflation pressure weighed on crypto prices. Crypto prices slid after a hotter-than-expected US Consumer Price Index reading on October 14. A higher inflation print can dampen expectations for monetary easing, putting pressure on risk assets; the broad market move helps explain why positive XRP ETF demand did not translate into a same-day price gain. As for today, XRP ETFs have recorded 13 consecutive weeks of net inflows, with the last losing week ending July 10 at about $7.2 million in outflows.
