The Florida-based arm now holds 7 BTC as it waits to close its planned takeover of Nasdaq-listed Super League Enterprise Metaplanet’s US subsidiary has reportedly bought 4 more Bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to 7 BTC. The purchase lands before the company’s much larger deal for Super League Enterprise has closed. The buyer is Metaplanet Holdings, Inc., the Florida-based arm of Japan’s Metaplanet Inc. The 4 BTC purchase means the subsidiary held three coins before this latest addition. The purchase claim has not been independently corroborated by major financial or crypto outlets. No public records reviewed in the research confirmed a discrete 4 BTC buy by the US entity. On August 18, 2026, Metaplanet announced that its US subsidiary would contribute 2,100 BTC along with $2.5 million in cash.
