Coinbase has built partnerships with PNC, JPMorgan Chase, and Citi covering Bitcoin trading, account funding, and stablecoin payments, with PNC’s service allowing eligible private banking clients to buy, sell, and hold BTC inside its digital banking platform. PNC’s eligible private banking clients can buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin through its digital platform. Chase’s Coinbase agreement covers credit card funding, rewards redemption, and direct bank account connections. Citi’s collaboration supports virtual accounts and merchant stablecoin payments, with settlement in traditional currency. Stablecore’s technology reaches over 3,000 institutions, though that figure does not represent signed Coinbase partners. PNC announced the Bitcoin service on Dec. 9, 2025, identifying Coinbase’s Crypto-as-a-Service infrastructure as the technology supporting the offering.
